I get goosebumps listening to any military member. Then I see the joy, maturity, leadership, sense of humor, and love for living Wyatt brings. This young man is a tremendous addition to our team and program. I remember watching him at Big 12s and was rooting for him being a service member. Excited for his final year and Olympic journey. DT will be HUGE for him in his training and future partners we can bring in, hopefully Mocco and maybe his younger uncommitted brother someday? Wyatt sounds like an amazing American wrestler!!

I will second that and say, if you are a casual fan or do not know much about wrestling, come watch Wyatt wrestle. He will bring excitement and aggression. He will be a fan favorite from day one.

What is Wyatt’s history with Gable and Kerkvleit? Kinda sucky Gable decided to enter the picture this late where it looked like Wyatt would’ve walked into the finals. Now, not so much guaranteed….

Would Wyatt redshirt and let the other 2 pass on through?

Wyatt lost to Kerkvliet in the semifinals in March 2023, 4-2. It was a close match. In Nov 2023 they wrestled in the all star match. Wyatt was coming off of an injury and lost convincingly 18-2.

Wyatt lost to Gable 18-2 back in 2021.

Taylor says he will put his best lineup on the mat which includes Hendrickson. The path just got a lot more difficult.
