That's like looking at your bank account on payday and not thinking about all the bills you havd to pay.

Its always cool to have more money but it doesn't take away our spending problem. I hope the government doesn't forget about rent when spending like a baller at Sizzler on Friday.

James Talarico a rep here in Texas is calmly and intelligently dismantling the nanny state republicans here. He has a masters in divinity and fighting books being banned…..was a middle school teacher and is fighting the banning of THC products while offering common sense regulations to keep it out of kids hands. He is from the Round Rock/Georgetown/Hutto purple area north of Austin.

I’ll write a check tomorrow if the Dems would run him against Abbott…..or whoever follows Trump for pres.

That guy's words and calm demeanor are incredible.

It would be a huge leap from a state house to presidency but I agree with you that a guy who thinks like that and can speak in such a disarmeing way would be the perfect response to MAGA insanity.

I’ve been trying to do homework on him. It’s not easy. There is obviously his own stuff but not much else. 36 and single will be no problem with that age and down but be a problem with older voters. I think he could beat Abbott and crew. I don’t know anyone that likes Abbott….he has ultra conservative pockets or he wouldn’t be there but no middle appeal. He has screwed up education so bad though teachers that stumped for all the Jesus in the classroom mess he pushed have turned on him. If Talarico runs he would have that vote and the influence that comes it locked up red and blue. Then maybe after a stint as gov a shot at the big chair and how amazing would it be to have a 44 year old smart president
