Official - Eric Morris to be named next OSU Coach!

Indiana and Tech have shown that if you throw money at the right players you can turn things around quickly. Here’s hoping these coaches can evaluate some talent, convince them to come to Stillwater, and pay them.

Eric Morris has adapted a dynamic offense with traces of Mike Leach. Most importantly he is a QB coach with an eye for QB talent. This is much more elite from an offensive perspective than Mike Gundy who struggled to even find the best QB to put on the field.

I expect us to see a much more open offense that distributes the ball and executes at high level. I think the biggest key for Eric Morris will be his ability to find defensive talent and find a good balance that doesn’t wear out his defense.

I am just happy we won’t see gundys stale ass offense and something exciting.

Pair Morris with the $$ to pay for the right guys on defense, and watch out. I’m diving in head first on this hire, he was my number one as soon as Gundy was fired. I have a feeling the big 12 is in trouble.

Donors just have to step up here or it won’t work like it should.

I'm catching up with all the info now that Morris has been selected. I like what I've heard so far. It's interesting how similar he seems to Lutz. Focused, intense, relatable, intelligent, and somewhat no-nonsense. He also appears to think creatively, and have a willingness to try new ways to find success with limited resources.

Seems like the best case scenario hire for OSU. I'm all in.

As of now, I'd say Weiberg and their committee did an amazing job with the decisions that led to this point. They're received a lot of criticism for timing, etc....but they appear to have delivered.

I'm excited for OSU football again!

I’m lazy and in charge of cooking turkey and making the gravy.

Do we know the general contractor language?

Best Thanksgiving in two years! Go Pokes!

Are there any more reports on which coaching stafff members may follow him? I have heard the DC and their GM may come to OSU. For the most part his staff seems young and ready to prove themselves.
