RB Walt Garrison, Lewisville, 1963-65: 1965 all-Big Eight, then became an iconic Dallas Cowboy.
RB Tatum Bell, DeSoto, 2000-03: 2002 all-Big 12, ranks seventh in OSU rushing, with 3,409 yards.
K: Larry Roach, Dallas St. Mark's, 1981-84: A 1982 all-American and the most prolific field-goal kicker in OSU history, with 68. Also has the longest OSU field goal ever, 56 yards.

DL Ryan McBean, Euless Trinity, 2005-06: Junior-college transfer who now has played six NFL seasons.
DE Mike Woolridge, Cedar Hill, 1989-92: 1992 all-Big Eight pick.
DE Victor DeGrate, DeSoto, 2003-06: One of several excellent Cowboys from DeSoto.
LB: Dwayne Levels, Richardson, 1998-01: Strong leader who unfortunately played on four losing teams.
LB: Justin Gent, Irving MacArthur, 2007-10: Long-time potential fulfilled with strong senior season.
LB: James Spencer, Garland, 1980-83: Excellent Jimmy Johnson linebacker who was plagued by knee injuries.
DB Vernon Grant, DeSoto, 2002-04: Team leader and budding star who was killed in a car crash before his senior season.
DB Darrent Williams, Fort Worth Wyatt, 2001-04: Smallish cornerback who rose to star status, then made it in the NFL before he was tragically killed.
DB Jacob Lacey, Garland Namaan Forest, 2005-08: Still going strong in the NFL.
DB Rod Fisher, Dallas South Oak Cliff, 1980-83: Solid cornerback for Jimmy Johnson.
P Quinn Sharp, 2009-12, Mansfield Summit: all-American and a triple-threat foot – field goals, kickoffs and punts. Excellent at them all.
