Coach’s job is scheme and player preparation. GM is solely player personnel.

I’m still going to maintain that a GM position is more important than coach. GM job takes ownership of roster building and NIL operations. You get a commercial guy for NIL and then elite recruiting coordinator to both sit under the GM. Coach won’t make a difference if we can’t attract players.
