People wondered if the DBU game was a spark and the start of something, nope, just an anomaly.

Wait a minute, did we just have more guys drafted than the almighty sooners? How is the sports animals going to take that?

Who are these guys? Did we just have an open tryout for anybody that has ever pitched a little league game? Recruiting is atrocious.

Should be 6-5 but Ginther, apparently clueless to the struggles all season, holds Smith thinking “well there’s only one out.” Smith would have scored easily, and we proceed to pop out and strike out.

Get this over with and then just brawl

What is Tom even talking about? Keeps talking about how the starters need to go longer, the bullpen is overworked. At least on the weekends the last few weeks, Bodendorf, Pesca, Youngerman and Watkins have eaten up a ton of innings. Starting pitching hasn’t been the issue.

What excuses will Dave and Tom come up with now that they haven’t already used? The stadium is too nice? The smell of the grills is distracting and too tempting for the players? The orange seats are too bright?

The tv broadcast’s have turned into an excuse festival. Anything Dave and Tom can possibly come up with as an excuse they do it. Injury, travel, tiredness, worrying about school, the regional competition is too tough in midweek, NIL, weather are all ones they’ve noted today.

Just turn it off. What a debacle.

Really should have swept this series with the starting pitching you got. But the lack of production and leadership from guys like Schubart and Brueggeman makes you go 1-2. This is the least clutch bunch that has come through this program in a long time.

And another error for Jones. Even the Arizona broadcaster is feeling sorry for him.

Way to go Shull! Still feels like a walkoff is coming.
