It'll be refreshing having an HC who actually talks to his players and coaches on the sidelines and shows excitement during a game. Gundy is a weird dude, but the fact that he never showed any emotion towards his players and never talked to them was really strange.
Morris was my top choice--really pumped about him taking over. When it comes to QB's and offense, he's the anti-Gundy. Amazing to me that a guy with Gundy's experience could be that bad at recruiting and evaluating QB's.
No decent P4 programs are coming for Gundy. He's shown himself to be a lazy, complacent doofus who completely burned his own program down. The SEC would chew him up and spit him out. No one outside of a G5 program would hire him.
I haven't seen any other programs in the new NIL era totally fall apart. Florida State has not been good the last couple of years, but they're not yet the disaster that we are. They're two years removed from going 13-0.
Just curious to hear some opinions, but I can't recall when an entrenched HC--who led a program to the success that Gundy led OSU--left a program so completely in shambles and disarray. Not even competitive. I know that Gundy is owed a debt of gratitude for what he did for OSU, but he also...
It depends how we win and/or lose. I think we can win 6 or 7, but I don't want to see any more humiliating losses like last year. In most of Gundy's losses over the past few years, we haven't even been competitive.
Combination of bad coaching from Dunn and Nardo, and bad QB and OL play. NIL is now the norm. Teams can and will look completely different from year to year--ours is an extreme case with 50 new players and an entirely new staff. At least we cleaned house and brought in some coaches who appear...
