Pistols Firing Blog showing Tyler Mercer, OL from Kansas has committed. He played at North Texas before going to Kansas.

I hadn't seen that either but On3 shows him committed. I remember when he was committed to OSU out of HS.

It appears that OSU's roster info for 2026 is pretty close to reports about portal entrants. It could be that any of the players on the roster that are in the portal are guys that Morris would welcome back in 2026.

Couple more North Texas commits: DL Fatafehi Vailea II S Evan Jackson

DL Keviyan Huddleston from North Texas has been added to the commit lists that I have been looking at. 9.5 TFL and 5 sacks as a sophomore last year. Started his career in the Big 12 at TCU.

Hauss seemed like a classy and talented kid. I hope he has a lot of success at Colorado State and anywhere else that he might end up.

I am excited about picking up Ayo Adeyi at RB behind Hawkins. He has produced in Morris' offense before. 2023. I will take 6.5 yards per carry from any D-1 running back with 383 carries. Apparently he has had injuries the last couple of years at James Madison.

One thing I am noticing is that Morris has no aversion and does not shy away from small receivers. This makes sense since he himself was a small receiver at Texas Tech. I personally am very excited about this because there are a lot of small-framed receivers who have been extremely productive...

Hejny to transfer out. Not a surprise given the Mestemaker addition. Hopefully one of the 3 QB commits will prove to be a reliable backup.
