These girls are pretty darn good. And lots of depth. ball handlers, shooters, defenders, even some inside players who can move, even if just a tad undersized. Everybody who's played substantial minutes has basketball skills. Solid. Might even make postseason.

Gundy's just not as quick, sharp or smart as Lutz.

Kind of beating a dead horse, but who or what is your source that Smith is a walk-on? Coach? Smith? News in print, like a newspaper article? I just haven't seen any source.

In fact, yes, acc'd to Pistols Firing, it is the 6'10" 245 guy from Xavier (1 year after 3 at N. Tex). We're getting a lot of guys with a lot of experience. That's 9 schollys, so 3 left, acc'd to PF (tho I thought we get 13, or 4 left).

Yes, 6-9 or 6-10, or if shorter, some bulk, a la Marshall Moses. I've seen his height listed on different sites as 6-6 (which is probably right), 6-7 and 6-8, weight from 230 to 255 (closer to right).

Thanks for that info. HCSL has said he'll play a motion offense. Hasn't he implied it'll be sort of positionless? That's what the Thunder say of their offense. Our tallest guys are two new guys at 6'7" and two holdovers at 6'6". So do we need at least two guys taller than that? Three? More?

I'm hoping it's actually Cisse, despite his leaving. Height, interior defense, shot-blocking, maybe rebounding (hopefully).
