I think he planned to be at the farm for a while. I'm not sure he is a big need for us weight wise. His brother or adopted brother would be a very nice addition. It is a win for OSU if he doesn't go to Penn State.

Anyone else notice a large price increase? I understand they were very inexpensive, but wanting to buy season tickets, national duals tickets, and big 12 tickets starts to add up.

It sounded like he made a quick decision after not making the Olympics. Someone who knows more than me could respond. Do we really need another coach? Caldwell and Zo are doing a lot (pan am this weekend) and Roper was brought in.

I don't know enough to know how good lockett is right now, but I agree with you that 157 does not have as much of a favorite. Lockett already beat Shapiro (157) in freestyle. (Shapiro got 3rd two years ago as a true freshman.)

The biggest difference is the emphasis on an rtc. Taylor seems determined to make this the best place for wrestlers to train. Bringing in senior level partners to work with is a big part of developing others. This is also huge for recruiting.

With the transfer portal, there has been a lot more excitement in the offseason like free agency in the pros. This allows teams to fill holes. I am going to make my way to early predictions for next year compared to this year. On first glance, it looks like there is no way we will be better...

I think this team can contend for second, but there are lots of questions like you said.

For all the frustration that we may have with transfer portal, it brings a lot of interest to the off season. Teams can improve quickly.
