From the mouthpiece of the BOR who wants to fire Gundy. This dude has it bad for Gundy and isn't thinking rationally.

He was all set to announce a hire on Friday, before the BOR called their meeting. That scared the new OC and he withdrew his name. Because of the BORs actions, we probably missed out on the second and third choices too.

At the same time, he said they missed on a few other players because they didn't have the money to get them.

Sounds like he doesn't like anyone.

Dickey's contract only has 1 more year on it. I'm not sure about Dunn and Nardo.

Let's face it. In this era of NIL and unlimited free agency, it nothing but a money game. We have champagne dreams on a single beer budget. Our budget is why Gundy doesn't pursue a lot of higher ranked kids. It takes money to constantly be in front of them and we just don't have it.

You take the money and take out an insurance policy for injury. Lot of players who think they will get drafted do that. My understanding was he had to appear on the coaches show. You're supposed to do something other than just play a sport for that NIL money.

I did the same, picking TU against the California FCS school. That got a lot of people out that year.
