Mike should tell the AD, Pres and Board that he is retiring at the end of the year so they can start the search. I don’t think there is anyone on this staff that would turn this around as Interim HC so let Mike ride this thing all the way down.

I agree with much of what you said in your posts. Boone died 6 years ago, long before NIL changed the game. The other boosters were old, that’s why Boone tried the life insurance scheme. Part of Gundy’s job was to interact with and develop those up and coming boosters to replace those people...

Most predictions I saw had us Utah or KSU favored above us to win the conference, KSU finished 8th and Utah 13th. I don’t recall anyone predicting ASU to win 11 games, the conference and take Texas to the wire…or BYU to win 11 or CU to win 9. The preseason predictions were way off the mark.

The rumors I’m reading are Rangel will be the starter coming out of bye week, Bowman pff the depth chart, Dickey gone immediately and replaced by Mcadoo (sp), both coords out after season.

I don’t think they care if a handful of upset fans of schools that were not invited to the party decide not to watch. They control the biggest, most watched “brands” in college football and control the largest media markets and righteous holdouts don’t move the viewership needle.

Those 2 conferences have 18 of the 20 teams that account for 50% of all college football viewers. The other 2 teams are Florida St and Clemson.
