    Loved watching Marshall Moses play.

I'm not sure what he plans to do, but you still have to defend the Post position even if your offense plays positionless.

We seem to get PF's and try to play them as C's. I'll list who we had as PF/C 2023 Dailey Garrison Marsh McBride Miranda 2022 Kalib Cisse Tyreek Smith Kouma Woody (had the build but played more SF) 2021 Cisse Kalib Moncrieffe Tyreek Smith Kouma 2020 Kalib Moncrieffe Kouma Keylan (more of a...

    2024 Portal Season

I would expect 4-5 out of the 13 players to be PF/C types. They have to have someone to practice against.

    Head Coach Steve Lutz

I'm in the cautiously optimistic group. Lutz was top 5 for me. He checks the talent evaluator and how to assemble a balanced roster boxes. He seems to have proven that he can make a roster over-haul and get an NCAA bid at the mid-major level getting players that were not quite NIL/"P6" level...

Even when Viginia won the title it was brutal to watch them play and now they are stuck with that coach for a long time because of the title. No thank you.

Definitely a strange off-season. It is one thing to have a new coach, but the NIL/Portal makes it bizarro world. We won't have an idea of what this team looks like until Summer time.

I think NIL is going to keep it a grown man’s game. Stay state-side and get paid 100k+ in college ball or go over-seas and make less. There was a time college kids would bolt over-seas to make a little cash instead of staying in college. Now they can make more staying in college. Which is...

I understand that it is coaching, but it is still mind blowing. He did well at UAB, but kind of stunk at Stanford, which is weird because he is from that region. 3 players ranked higher than Garrison and all 4 players ranked higher than Dailey. Those were 2 of our top 5-6 players. All 4...

Stanford has the #5, 7, 11, and 78th players on this list. How did they go 14-18?

Boeheim used the 3-2 almost exclusively. I think the love of the man-to-man defense is partially due to pride for purist, when it comes to defense. "Don't need a gimmick to win" approach. If you have the better players, you should win. At least that is my opinion.

Can't blame all of it on the offense scheme or lack there of. You call them "careless turnovers", but they were often associated with lack of chemistry. How often was a short pass under the basket or a pass at the top that would go straight out of bounds because the player didn't move as the...

I've never watched them play. His 2.4 assists led the starters. Team averaged about 13.4 assists a game, which is a little better than half the D1 teams. He averaged 2.0 TOV per game which led the team. 2P% was 50.5%, so looks like he had a good share of quality shots. I would guess he...

I will be curious to see how he develops a team over a few years. He plays a lot of players, which I have been very critical of Boynton for doing. The most a player has averaged under Lutz is 28.5 minutes. 0-8 against "P6" programs and the closest was an 8 point loss at Minnesota. Schertz...
